Job Role / Responsibilities
1. Receipt of Approved Purchase Requisitions in SAP / SRM.
2. Convert these Purchase Requisitions into Purchase Orders into SAP / SRM Systems. This will be only for Non-Catalog Purchase Orders.
3. Non Catalog Purchases with Catalog Suppliers.
4. Handle the Indirect Sourcing/Buying activity that procure goods/services.
5. Responsible for PO placement, Expedite overdue PO’s – Tactical Buying Group.
6. Responsible for all Indirect Commodities: IT & Telecom, Purchased Services, Utilities, Factory Supplies, Capital Equipment, Market Communication & Global Technology.
7. Handling Indirect Material Requisition, managing purchase order delivery through SAP.
8. Develop and Manage supplier relationships and negotiating supplier agreements.
9. Develop integrated (tactical and strategic) category sourcing strategy which delivers short term savings and drives category transformation through time.
10. Support in RFx and eAuction activity.

Required Educational Qualification: Based on field you should have Graduate /
Post Graduate in any of the field.
Required Experience: Applying person should have minimum 6 months to 1 year of prior experience in Indirect Procurement.

Required Knowledge/ Skills:
Good Knowledge of e-Sourcing and RFx
process.
Shift: Ready to work in EMEA / NA Shift timings.
Important Requirements of experience:
Candidates should have experience in handling Supply Chain
Management work will be an added advantage. The Candidate should have prior
experience in creating Purchase Orders and should be aware of the basic
requirements of creating Purchase Orders. The Candidate should have hand
on experience in dealing with multiple ERPs as this role will involve extensive
use of SAP and other legacy systems. The Candidate should also have
experience in dealing with web based tools and should be comfortable with
working on various reporting tools which are web based.
Important requirements
of knowledge
The candidate should have excellent communication skills, as
he will be required to liaise with Suppliers & Requisitioners in EMEA
region. The candidate should have strong
skills on all Microsoft Products like Excel, Word, Power Point and MS Access.
This job may also require using various applications (Microsoft or others).
Hence, a strong inclination towards automation will be an added advantage.
Exposure to Six Sigma is also desirable. Negotiation skills desirable.
Inventory Planning experience desirable.
